Lamprobe

What is the Lamprobe? The Lamprobe is a safe and effective way to treat a wide range of minor skin irregularities (including skin tags large and small) in a quick and non-invasive treatment.

What does the Lamprobe treat? Skin tags, cholesterol deposits, millia, spider naevi, clogged pores, fibromas, acne pimples.

How does the Lamprobe work? The Lamprobe was developed by Hubert Lam, and it uses high frequency and radio waves to remove skin irregularities on the surface of the skin. It does not penetrate the skin. It works on the principle of liquids being attracted to heat which is then transferred to the skin from the probe.

How does the Lamprobe feel? It does not require anesthesia. The discomfort level depends on the client’s tolerance, but is usually described as a tight pinch or very fine zapping feeling.

How long is a treatment? Each spot requires 10-30 seconds depending on size of the skin irregularity.

Can the Lamprobe be used with other skin care treatments such as microdermabrasion? Yes, just as long as you do the skin care treatment before the Lamprobe. The microderm actually can bring out the skin irregularity more.

Can I add skin tag removal onto my sugaring service? or does it have to be scheduled separately? Oftentimes, we can include the skin tag removal in the same amount of time allotted for your sugaring services, especially if there are only 1-2 skin tags because they are so fast to treat. However, we do prefer that you let us know ahead of time if possible so we can add on additional time. If you have many skin tags, let us know an estimate number and we can give you an estimate on the amount of time required.

How much does it cost? We charge $10 per skin tag. If you have quite a lot of skin tags, we typically will only charge for the larger ones and include the small ones for free.

What is the down time? Some skin tags are not removed, they are treated and then fall off 1-3 days afterwards. Some larger skin tags may bleed and have a scab that will take a week to heal. Most skin tags are removed and you forget where they were because there is no evidence of them being there.

Additional info: Common areas to have skin tags are underarms, neck, pubic region for women and men, under breasts, and around or near the eyes. In other words, don’t be embarrassed about where your skin tag is, we can remove it and you will love the results!
